1. The photo of your mentor (taken with the group)

2. Tell us about your mentor (give their name) and what you mentor does at Oath
Our Mentor’s name is Mohit Goenka and the assistat mentor’s name is Nikita Varma. Both are apart of the (Communication) Yahoo Mail (Mobile) division and Mohit specifically is the manager and Nikita is a developer.
3. Tell us about the last meeting with your mentor: what was helpful from the meeting, what do you wish you'd had more of, besides time?
At our last meeting with our mentors, we learned about how their team worked together and their strengths and weaknesses. We also learned about how they take back the feedback from users and what users specially should be prioritized as well as the general complaints of these users had. Learning about these things was helpful because it gave us more information on how they work and changes they made to better the product for the users. It was also helpful when learning how every team is different, but there are certain things that are important to what makes a team. For example communication. Continuing on, I wished that we have talked more about our project and get their opinions and advice on our project during the last meeting. During the last meeting, we talk mostly about the Yahoo Mail division than our project and I wished we talked more about our project than we actually did.
4. Tell us what you will do to make your product better and meet the needs of the person using your product.
To make their product better and meet the needs of the person using the product, our mentor said that they focus and prioritize the users’ feedbacks and complaints base on of users who frequently uses the products than those who do not use as frequently. On the Yahoo Mail app, there are a lot of features that users do not know are available and this prevents users from using the app to its fullest. There are also many different types of devices and so the app may not be a compatible with certain versions. Because of this, the assistant mentor said that they would buy those devices are try out the app for its user experience and from those change certain features to better make the app more comfortable.
